Why Resource Efficiency?

Resource efficiency helps businesses function at peak performance by minimizing energy and water consumption, reducing pollution, and maximizing productivity. By becoming more energy efficient, commercial and institutional building owners can increase profits or margins, reduce operating expenses, and increase property asset value.

Technical Assistance

The Montana Resource Efficiency Program (MREP) offers practical efficiency information online, including this website dedicated to the energy-efficiency tools, case studies, and lessons learned. Online resources include energy-efficiency toolkits by building and equipment type, including: building envelope, lighting, motors, HVAC controls, manufacturing processes, and refrigeration.
